1. Who you are dealing with
GetFundedScholar (getfundedscholar.com) is operated by Legal entity name to be supplied, registered address to be supplied. Contact: hello@getfundedscholar.com.
2. What the service is
GetFundedScholar helps you find scholarships and prepare applications. We list scholarships run by other organisations; we do not award scholarships, and we cannot guarantee that you will be selected for any of them. Always confirm requirements and deadlines on the provider's official website before you apply. No scholarship provider listed here should ever ask you to pay to apply. If one does, tell us.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16. If you are 16 or 17, you need your parent's or guardian's permission.
- Give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Creating accounts to collect referral rewards is not allowed and those rewards can be removed.
4. Scholarship information
Listings summarise information published by scholarship providers. Providers change their rules, amounts and deadlines without telling us, so a listing can be out of date. The provider's official website is always the authority; check it before you apply. We are not responsible for providers' decisions, and a listing here is not an endorsement or a promise that a scholarship is open to you.
4a. AI-generated content and the chat assistant
Matches, personal statements, CV text and cover letters are generated by AI from what you provide. They are drafts. They can be wrong or incomplete, and you are responsible for checking, editing and making any document your own before you submit it. Do not submit content that misrepresents you. Our live chat may be answered first by an AI assistant; it can make mistakes, and it can't take payments, change your account or give legal advice. Ask for a person at any time.
5. Plans and payments
- The Free plan costs nothing. Pro is sold as a one-time payment for one month or one year of access, and the Application Boost as a one-time payment. Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page.
- Plans do not renew automatically. Nothing is charged again unless you choose to buy again.
- Payments are processed by Paystack or Stripe under their own terms.
6. Refunds
If something went wrong with a payment (for example you were charged but did not receive your plan, or were charged twice), email hello@getfundedscholar.com with your payment reference and we will fix it or refund you. General refund window to be supplied
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, scrape it, get around plan limits or payments, upload unlawful content, or use it to send spam. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Your content and ours
You own what you write and upload. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you. The site's design, text, software and brand belong to us; please don't copy or scrape them.
8a. Messages from us
We send service messages you need (password resets, receipts, the deadline reminders you set up). Marketing messages are sent only if you opt in and confirm, and every one has a one-click unsubscribe. See the Privacy Policy.
8b. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
9. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made by scholarship providers. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
10. Changes, disputes and law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do; for significant changes we will email account holders first. If something goes wrong, contact us first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of Governing country to be supplied, and nothing in them removes rights you have under the consumer-protection law of the country you live in.
